The Vance Gate Repair Tempe Guarantee
When we say we stand behind our work, we mean it in writing. Every gate repair, motor replacement, and access-control installation we complete in Tempe is backed by the 365-Day Done Right Promise: if anything we fixed isn’t right, we make it right. No argument, no fee, no expiration date within that full year. Adrian Vance built this company in 2014 on commercial access-control sites where documentation wasn’t optional, and we bring that same habit to every residential gate we touch in Tempe. You get a written price before we start, a photographed record of what we found and changed, and a full year of coverage on our workmanship. That’s not marketing language. It’s Haven Standard Clause 1, Clause 4, and the Done Right Promise, applied to every job.
What’s Covered
- Workmanship on every repair and installation. Our labor is covered for 365 days from the date of completion. If a weld we made cracks, a limit switch we set drifts, or a bracket we aligned shifts out of position, we return and correct it at no charge.
- Parts we supply and install. We source components from nine major automation brands - LiftMaster, FAAC, BFT, Linear, Viking, Ghost Controls, DoorKing, Elite, and Mighty Mule - and we stand behind the fit and function of every part we put in. If a motor, photo-eye, or control board fails due to installation error on our end, that’s on us.
- Site condition on departure. We don’t leave your driveway scattered with stripped screws or old arm brackets. Our technicians carry the tools to clean as they go, and we photograph the finished condition under Clause 4 so you have proof of how we left it.
- Arrival and communication. You receive the technician’s name and photo before dispatch. If we’re running behind due to Tempe traffic or a prior job running long, we call. No ghosting, no vague windows.
- Honest, upfront pricing. The flat price is written and handed to you before any work begins. If we discover something unexpected - a corroded underground conduit in a Tempe irrigation zone, for instance - we stop, explain, and get your written approval on the revised price before continuing. No surprise invoice at the end.
Our Satisfaction Promise

If you’re not satisfied with our work, we want to know immediately. Call (623) 323-3849 - a live person answers 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We’ll schedule a return visit, review the documented photo record from your original job, and determine what needs correction. If we missed something, we fix it. If a part we installed is performing below spec, we replace it. If the gate behavior doesn’t match what we promised, we adjust until it does. This isn’t a pro-rated partial refund scheme or a runaround through a corporate claims department. Adrian Vance runs this as an owner-operated business, and his name is on every work order. The 365-Day Done Right Promise means exactly that: one full year for us to make any repair right at no additional charge. We’ve honored it on swing gates in Escalante and sliding gates in Kiwanis Park, on commercial access-control retrofits and residential driveway operators. The promise doesn’t vary by neighborhood or gate type. It’s the same Haven Standard we apply across all ten of our home-service brands.
Before
AfterLicensed & Insured Backing
Licensing and insurance are the real guarantee behind every written promise we make. We’re state-licensed and insured & bonded, which means if something goes wrong on your property - damage to a stucco column, an underground line strike, an injury on site - there’s coverage in place and a regulatory body that holds us accountable. Adrian Vance maintains these credentials because he spent his early career on commercial access-control jobs where missing coverage meant missing the bid. For Tempe homeowners, this translates to verifiable protection: we can produce our documentation on request, our technicians are background-checked and uniformed, and our license number travels with every dispatch. The 365-Day Done Right Promise and the Haven Standard clauses are only as strong as the company standing behind them. Our licensing and insurance ensure we’re still here to honor them.
How We Document Every Job

Under Haven Standard Clause 4, every visit includes a documented photo record at no additional charge. Here’s what that looks like in practice.
When our technician arrives at your Tempe property, they photograph the gate in its current state - the sag in the frame, the corrosion on the chain, the error code flashing on the control board. As work progresses, they capture the adjustments: the new limit-switch position, the torque setting on the arm bracket, the wiring diagram they followed for the access-control integration. Before leaving, they photograph the finished condition and the test cycle. You receive a copy of this photo log, and we file the complete record in your job history. If a question arises three months later - “Was that photo-eye replaced or just realigned?” - we pull the file and answer it definitively. This isn’t a bonus feature we charge extra for. It’s standard operating procedure, developed from Adrian Vance’s commercial work starting in 2014 and applied to every residential gate we service today.
What’s Not Covered
We don’t hide behind fine print, and we don’t promise what we can’t control. Our 365-Day Done Right Promise covers our workmanship and the parts we install. It does not cover: damage from third-party modifications made after we leave; normal wear from Tempe’s extreme heat cycling and monsoon exposure if maintenance is deferred; manufacturer defects in parts we didn’t supply; or gate damage from vehicle impact, landscaping equipment, or other external force. We also don’t cover repairs performed by other companies - if a competitor’s weld fails or their motor install was wired incorrectly, that’s their responsibility, not ours. We’re happy to provide a free second opinion on any written estimate from another company; bring the paperwork and we’ll review it at no cost. But our guarantee applies to our work, documented and photographed, start to finish.
The Haven Standard: What It Means for Tempe

The Haven Standard is the operating framework for all ten of our home-service brands. For Vance Gate Repair Tempe, it boils down to three non-negotiables on every job.
Clause 1: Have it in writing. The price is quoted, written, and agreed before any work starts. No verbal estimates, no “call for a quote,” no invoice that exceeds what you approved.
Clause 4: Evidence on every job. The photographed record, the part numbers, the settings - documented and delivered to you.
The 365-Day Done Right Promise: One full year to make it right, no additional charge, no argument.
We’ve completed over 22,000 gate repairs and installations since 2014. Every one started with a written price and ended with a documented record. That’s not a projection or an aspiration. It’s the count of times we’ve already done this, and the standard we’ll apply to your gate.
Frequently Asked Questions
Call (623) 323-3849. If the same issue recurs within 365 days of our original repair, we return and make it right at no charge. The Done Right Promise covers our workmanship and the parts we installed. We’ll review the original photo record, diagnose whether the failure is related to our work, and correct it. If the problem is unrelated - new damage, a separate component failing, or an external cause like a vehicle strike - we’ll explain what we find and provide a new written price before any additional work.
No. Our guarantee covers parts we source and install. If your gate has an existing motor or control board that we diagnose but don’t replace, we warranty our diagnostic labor and any adjustments we make, not the component itself. When we do supply a replacement part - whether it’s a LiftMaster operator, a FAAC hydraulic arm, or a BFT control board - that part and our installation of it are covered under the 365-Day Done Right Promise.
You receive it before we leave. The technician hands you the photo log and written record of parts installed, settings adjusted, and tests performed. We also file the complete record in our system. If you misplace your copy, call us and we’ll resend it. The documentation is yours - we don’t withhold it or charge for duplicates.
Call (623) 323-3849. A live person answers 24/7. Describe what the gate is doing, and we’ll pull your job history. In most cases we can determine coverage over the phone based on the original work order and photo record. If we need to see the gate in person, we’ll schedule a visit and assess it at no charge if it’s within the 365-day window and related to our prior work.
We handle light commercial gate work - homeowner associations, small office complexes, multi-family entries - and the same Haven Standard applies. The 365-Day Done Right Promise, the written price before work starts, and the documented photo record are standard on every job we accept. For heavy industrial or high-security federal installations, we may refer you to a specialist better equipped for that scope.
The 365-Day Done Right Promise applies to the property and the specific work performed. If you sell your Tempe home within the coverage window, the remaining guarantee transfers to the new owner. Just provide them with your job documentation, or have them call us with the address and date of service. We’ll confirm coverage in our records.
